About Us
Who We Are:
We are all sinners saved by Christ. Romans 3.23 shows us that “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God", which has moved us to put on Christ and turn to the saving grace of God (John 3.16-20). We are not perfect and still occasionally struggle with sin (1 John 1:8-10), but our goal is simple: to grow in God's love and mercy, never ceasing in spiritual growth.
We are disciples of Christ, unashamed of the gospel (Romans 1.16-17). We strive to proclaim his word to all the world (Matthew 28.16-20), showing others the hope and comfort in the saving grace of God. Our discipleship is a continual commitment to God and his word, leaning upon him and applying his lessons to our lives, in hopes of becoming more like Christ.
We are a community of love. Like the first Christians (Acts 2:42-47), we have gathered with other disciples to grow together and give encouragement to one another. Our love extends to sharing to meet one another’s needs (Acts 4:32-37, Heb 13:16), forgiving one another (Eph 4:32), and correcting and challenging one another to live for Jesus (James 5:16, Gal 6:1).
